OPPORTUNITIES.
We are currently offering two engaging volunteer opportunities: Firstly, businesses can significantly contribute by hosting a donation barrel, thereby becoming a valued drop-off location for electronics donations. This role involves overseeing the donation process and ensuring a seamless experience for contributors. Secondly, we welcome individuals who can facilitate the placement and management of donation barrels in various business establishments within their local area. Volunteers may also choose to combine these roles, thereby amplifying their impact in supporting our mission. Each role plays a crucial part in expanding our reach and effectiveness in gathering essential resources for service members and their families.
Become a drop-off location
As an authorized drop-off location, we will provide your business with donation barrels for convenient placement within your establishment. During your regular business hours, customers can easily drop off their devices. Upon filling a barrel, we will facilitate its collection by sending a prepaid shipping label and promptly supply a replacement barrel. Your participation plays a vital role in supporting our veterans, service members, and their families, who greatly benefit from and appreciate the devices collected through your efforts.
Become an ambassador
As an Ambassador for Smartphones for Service Members, your role is integral in engaging with business establishments to facilitate their participation in our mission. This includes discussing opportunities for them to donate unclaimed property or host a donation barrel at their location. We will support your efforts by supplying the donation barrel, providing prepaid shipping for its return once filled, and ensuring a timely replacement. Your dedication to this cause is invaluable in aiding veterans and service members, who deeply appreciate your commitment and service.
